Spokesman for Interior Ministry Hani Abdulatif said that police have killed the members of a terrorist cell belonged to the terrorist group of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis in the province of Sharqiya.
The terrorists were killed in the town of Al-Husayniyah while they were hiding in a farm in the town, he said.
The terrorist opened fire at the security forces, leaving an officer injured.
Police exchanged fire with the terrorist and managed to kill five members of the cell.
The forces seized large quantities of weapons, explosive belts and eight home-made bombs.
