The police on Wednesday arrested a taxi driver accused of acts of gross indecency in front of a female passenger in Amman. The arrest of the man came hours after the passenger posted what happened to her on a social media network.

The police said the driver is now in prison pending further investigation into the incident and called on citizens to report any wrongdoing or violations by taxi drivers.
