The Tenth of Ramadan Prosecution decided to hold in custody a police officer and two personnel for four days pending investigations.

They are accused of helping a terrorist, who belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group, to escape from a jail in Sharqiya.

He was held pending investigation in riot acts for 45 days.

Sharqia Security Chief Hussien Sief received a notification about the escape of prisoner Abdel Rahman Adnan, 22, during a weekly visit.

He faces charges of exploding electricity transformers and possessing explosives.

A manhunt has started to arrest the fugitive, while the general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
