Egypt's police forces

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar has given directives to police and security bodies in Sharm El Sheikh to keep working on alert as the resort city is still hosting the EEDC.
"There is still intensive work that should be fulfilled at the highest levels of security," said the minister.
Yet he hailed performance and high morale of the police in the city.
He inspected checkpoints and troops deployed to secure the international event.
The minister also hailed coordination with the army to maintain security in the city.
