Cairo fire

A non-commissioned officer died on Thursday while dousing a fire that erupted at a building in the working-class Cairo district of Sayeda Zeinab.

Eissa Abd Rabbouh, 47, was pinned under flaming debris. He was carried to hospital, where he breathed his last.

Firefighters manged to put out the blaze before extending to adjacent houses.
