A policeman and his family members were injured on Friday in an explosive device blast, west of Arish.
Terrorists planted the bomb on a district where a large number of police personnel reside, security sources said.
The device went off injuring a policeman, his wife and two children, they added.
They were rushed to hospital for treatment, while bodies concerned were notified to launch an investigation.
