The "Democratic Current" parties launched a petition for the retrial of former president Hosni Mubarak and his security officials after a court ruling acquitting them of killing demonstrators during the January 25 revolution.
The coalition called on Egyptians to sign the petition, asked other parties and political groups to join the move.
"To try key corruption figures is a fair demand," the coalition said in a statement.
