Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Wednesday greeted the armed forces on the 43rd anniversary of the October 6 War Victory Day.

In a sermon at Saint Mary Church, the Pope said the memory of that day is a source of pride for all Egyptians. 

Also, he saluted the souls of officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland.
