Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese underlined the close ties binding Muslims and Copts in Egypt. 

During his meeting Monday with a delegation from the religious committee at the House of Representatives, the pope reiterated that Muslims and Copts in Egypt are one fabric. 

He further said that the Egyptian cohesion is on the rise and Egypt became known of its Muslims and Copts and its people do not consider the Christians a minority.
