Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark's Diocese opened a church in the Old Cairo neighborhood after renovation.
The opening came as the church is marking the 44th death anniversary of late Pope Kyrillos VI.
Pope Kyrillos VI is the 116th Pope of Alexandria and Saint Mark Diocese from 10 May 1959 to his death on 9 March 1971.
