Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received on Sunday at the papal premises top state officials and well wishers who offered him greetings on the Easter.

He welcomed former planning minister Ashraf el Arabi, former head of the constituent assembly Amr Moussa and former prime minister Kamal el Ganzouri.

The pope also welcomed former scientific research minister Nadia Zakhari, head of Homat Misr (Egypt Guardians) Party, former presidential candidate Hossam Kheirallah, Mohammad Gomaa, coordinator of Egypt Family House projects, a delegation of Azhar led by Sheikh Mohammad Abu Hashim, former minister of mapower Nahed el Ashri and a delegation of Arab agricultural investors in Cairo.
