Tunisia's presidential run-off Moncef Marzouki

The defeated candidate in Tunisia's presidential run-off Moncef Marzouki said Wednesday that he would hand out the power to the president-elect Beji Caid Essebsi on Tuesday.
Marzouki said he would file challenges over claimed violations witnessed in the presidential run-off before the ordinary court, not the administrative one.
He condemned violence erupted in the country in the wake of announcing the election results, and called on preserving the public institutions and security centers.
Tunisians elected veteran politician Essebsi as the new president on Sunday after a series of elections that completed the country's democratic transition following the 2011 revolution.
