A powerful bomb exploded in the Natgas gas station in a village in Mahmoudia early Friday, but no casualties were reported.
Civil defense fighters and sappers rushed to the scene and the area was combed and sealed off.
Mahmoudia is the hometown of Hassan el Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.
