Egyptian Prime Minister Ismail Sherif presided over a ministerial meeting on Sunday to follow up the start of projects aiming at developing the Egyptian countryside.
Sherif, in a meeting with head of the newly-established Egyptian Reef Development company and ministers concerned, reiterated the government's keenness on boosting the company activities to achieve the goals it was established for.
The company represents a new model for the development of the Egyptian countryside, he added.
The company chairman reviewed the company's vision to achieve a sustainable development and encourage the private sector in getting engaged in developing the country.
He also referred to the company's role in reclaiming 1.5 million feddans in Egypt's new countryside.
