Prime Minister Sharif Ismail decided to start immediately the double track project of Qena-Sohag highway with a length of 140km.

The project will cost EGP 350 million, said Ismail during a meeting held with a number of ministers to discuss service and developmental projects in Aswan, Qena and Luxor.

The government prioritizes service and developmental projects implemented in Upper Egypt.

The governors of Qena, Luxor and Aswan presented a report about the most important projects implemented in their governorates.
