The Prisons Department in the Interior Ministry approved of transferring 17 inmates to prisons near the residency of their relatives putting into consideration the social aspect.

The Prisons Department received petitions demanding transferring some inmates to other prisons.

This comes in the framework of the efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry to offer care to the prisoners.
