Popular committees supporting Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi announced a 12-hour curfew in Aden that will start at 7 p.m. Friday.
They urged the residents to stay home during the curfew hours until the Houthi militias and forces loyal to the former president are defeated, which, according to them, will not take long.
Armed clashes continued in the city after Houthi elements launched an attack to take over Aden airport, eyewitnesses said.
