Lebanon's pro-labor organization on Wednesday called for a sit-in to be staged on September 9.

The group said the sit-in should coincide with the launch of a national dialogue by Speaker Nabih Berri.

The group asserted the protest should be peaceful and not target police and public property.

Berri has highlighted the importance of the initiative aimed at resolving current domestic crises.
