A public prosecution team on Tuesday inspected the site of a burned plastics factory in Shobra el Kheima district.

The prosecution had urged the advice of the criminal laboratory to specify the reasons behind the fire which broke out in the three-storey building.

The fire has gutted out the contents of the factory with no reports about casualties or injuries.

According to preliminary estimates, losses would hit 15 million pounds.
