Qaliobia prosecutors ordered on Tuesday an autopsy to identify reasons behind the death of Shobra el Khima prisoners.

The prison's security men were summoned for interrogation.

A medical report was issued earlier in the day, speaking about the death of three inmates at Shobra el Khima prison.

The three prisoners died normally at hospital after their health conditions deteriorated at prison, the report said.

There is no criminal motive behind the three prisoners' death, the report added.

Qalioubia security chief Saeed Shalaby said the three inmates died over the past three days as they were suffering from various health problems.
