The prosecution office in Obour City has ordered the release of the head of the licensing department in the city.

Prosecutors listened to his testimony regarding the fire that had erupted in a furniture factory in the city, killing 26 persons and wounding 25 others.

He told the prosecutors that a temporary license had been issued for the factory three years ago, stressing that the license was never renewed after expiration.

He further underscored that it is not his job to file violations against factories.
