Prosecutor General Hisham Barakat on Saturday ordered an immediate investigation into the assassination of three judges of North Sinai court and the injury of a fourth in an attack on their vehicle in front of North Sinai First Instance Court.

The prosecutor ordered the bodies of the three juges to be airlifted to Cairo and prosecutors to inspect the scene of the attack.

He also ordered the injured judge to be carried to a medical centre in Cairo to receive treatment.

Barakat also offered condolences to the families of the dead and assigned all security bodies to cooperate to arrest the perpetrators.
