Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi asserted that protecting Egypt is the responsibility of the armed forces and police.
Sobhi's remarks came during his meeting with a number of officers and soldiers in the Central Military Zone.
He lauded efforts of the fighters of the zone in cooperation with the police to secure the citizens.
Sobhi honored the distinguished fighters of the zone in appreciation of their efforts in carrying out their jobs and duties.
