Public security sector in the Interior Ministry resumed its expanded campaigns to restore law and order in the Egyptian street.
The campaigns were carried out upon directives of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar and were led by Assistant of the Interior Minister for Public Security Said Gad el Haq over past 24 hours.
They resulted it seizing nine automatic rifles, six cartridge guns, 101 bullets and 119 cold weapons.
About 149 drug cases were reported during the campaign.
Two gangs, grouping four suspects who carried out eight robberies, were arrested.
Around 61 fugitives and three suspects, who committed thuggery acts, were nabbed also.
Legal measures were taken in each case.
