Qalubia Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher ordered on Friday banning all kinds of electoral campaigns for the coming parliamentary elections within the City Hall, municipalities and other government institutions.

He vowed taking harsh measures against violators.

"The executive bodies stand at the same distance from all parliamentary candidates," he said.

"We are mainly concerned with serving citizens and meeting their needs, regardless of their political affiliations," he added.
