Qassam Brigades announced the death of one of its elements while working in a resistance tunnel here.

Maged Hafez, 26, was from Shoujaeiah east of Gaza City.

No details were given about the incident.

A number of Qassam members were killed in different incidents during training operations and tunnel digging to prepare for any possible confrontation with Israeli occupation forces.
