Minister of Civil Aviation Hossam Kamal has announced Qatamiya and West Cairo airports open for civil aviation starting August.

Qatamiya Airport will serve the new capital while West Cairo Airport will help Cairo International Airport meet the increasing air travel, he said.

Charter flights will use West Cairo Airport, he added.
