HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Tuesday afternoon with President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan at Al Bahr Palace.
HH the Emir and the Sudanese President discussed bilateral ties and the means to enhance them and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
A number of their excellencies Sheikhs and ministers attended the meeting. Members of the Sudanese delegation accompanying the president also attended the meeting.
HH the Emir hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of the Sudanese President and his accompanying delegation.
