Qatar Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim met here today with Rupert Soames, Serco Group Chief Executive Officer. 
During the meeting they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides. 
The meeting was attended by the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Qatar Nicholas Hopton, Defence Attache at the Embassy and a number of Qatar Armed Forces senior commanders. 
Major General Al-Shaheen also met with Commander of the Spanish Naval Forces on the occasion of his visit to Qatar. 
They discussed joint matters that contribute to cooperation between the two sides.
