The Advisory Council today held its weekly regular session under Council Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.

At the outset of the meeting the Council's Secretary General HE Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda which has been approved. Afterwards, the Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session.

The Council discuss a draft law amending some provisions of law No. 21 of 1989 organizing marriage to foreigners and decided to refer its recommendation thereon to the Cabinet.

The Council also discussed a report by the Public Services Committee on a draft law regulating works at roads and decided to refer its recommendation thereon to the Cabinet.
