Obama discussed with HH the Emir the outcomes of the 5+1 meeting with Iran in Switzerland, to discuss Iran's nuclear program. The US President stressed his administration's commitment to the peace and stability of the region.
For his part, HH the Emir expressed the State of Qatar's support to a peaceful resolution and the importance of having the region free of nuclear. weapons. HH the Emir also expressed hope that the deal with Iran will enhance security and stability in the region.
HH the Emir then thanked the US President for his interest and stressed that bilateral relations remain strong.
