The Egyptian authorities on Monday re-opened the Rafah border crossing to facilitate entry and exit of hundreds of stranded Palestinians from both sides.
Rafah crossing authority said in a statement that the crossing would be open from 9:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. as of today till Tuesday night for travelling passengers.
The crossing has been closed for 45 consecutive days due to the deteriorating security situations in Sinai.
