Rafah - MENA
The Rafah border terminal with the Gaza Strip remained open on both sides Tuesday for the second day in a row to allow stranded Palestinians and aid supplies into the coastal enclave.
The Egyptian authorities had agreed to re-open the crossing for four days, starting Monday, an official source at the Rafah crossing said.
As many as 1,880 persons crossed the terminal on Monday, the source added.
As many as 860 tons of construction materials were allowed into the enclave, according to the source.
The Rafah terminal has been closed following the Karm el Qawadis terrorist attack on October 24, 2014.
