Rafah crossing on Monday received 810 Palestinian pilgrims coming from the Gaza Strip in three groups, on their way to Saudi Arabia via Cairo International Airport.

An official at the terminal that the crossing was exceptionally opened to receive the Palestinian pilgrims.

All measures were eased for the travelers and vehicles were provided to move them to Cairo International Airport, the official added.

Over the coming two days, 2,800 pilgrims are expected to pass through Rafah/
