Cairo - Arab Today
The Rafah terminal on the Egyptian borders with the Gaza Strip will be exceptionally reopened on Wednesday in both directions for four days, the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo said in a statement on Tuesday.
The move came upon directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, added the statement.
The land crossing will be reopened on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, it noted.
The decision came, it indicated, in implementation of agreed upon mechanisms and timetables to allow stranded passengers and patients as well as humanitarian relief aid to pass through.
