President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued a decree setting border areas and their security rules.
The decree was a must after the approval of the new constitution and in light of security threats, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
Under the decision, the army is the sole body entitled to secure the borders, noted the spokesperson.
