Zagazig Criminal Court sentenced 33 members belonging to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to three to five years of rigorous imprisonment.
The court acquitted two other defendants from charges attributed to them in four violence cases in Sharqia.
The court sentenced 31 defendants to five years of rigorous imprisonment, while two students got three years in jail.
They faced charges of joining a banned group, breaching the protest law, inciting violence, disrupting traffic flow, destroying public as well as private facilities and possessing fire works.
