The Riyadh Declaration underlined the necessity of maintaining the stability and security of Yemen within the framework of legitimacy.

The declaration was announced at the closing session of Riyadh conference on rescuing Yemen.

The participants voiced their rejection of the Houthi group coup against the legitimate authority in Yemen and underlined the necessity of restoring weapons that were looted and hand them over to the State authority.

The participants also highlighted the importance that the Yemeni State should fully control the Yemeni territories.

They underscored the importance of stopping acts of hostility and stopping bloodshed to pilot Yemen to safety, according to the declaration.

Attending the conference were Yemeni President Mansour Abdrabu Hadi and his Prime Minister Khaled Mahfouz along with Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdel Latif bin Rashid Al Zayyani and representatives of several Yemeni political parties, organizations and tribes.
