Head of Sadat Democratic Party Effat Sadat described on Friday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to China as "successful", adding the visit would benefit the Egyptian economy and investment.
He said all Egyptians should exert strenuous efforts during the coming period to achieve progress.
Sadat asserted that the Egyptian-Chinese business council is expected to convene in Egypt soon.
Members of the council, one of whom is Sadat himself, will also attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Suez Canal project at an invitation by Sisi.
