The downtown Sadat metro station will be closed on Monday to passengers using the first and second metro lines due to security reasons.

Security authorities have requested the closure, spokesman for the Metro Authority Ahmed Abdel Hady said.

Tomorrow marks the fifth anniversary of the January revolution, which toppled decades-ruling president Hosni Mubarak.
