A well-placed official with the Ministry of Transport paid on Sunday a visit to the Salloum land crossing on borders with Libya to inspect services provided there.
Head of the General Authority for Ports and Dry Land Gamal Hegazy said 17 buses and two trains were provided to carry Egyptians fleeing Libya.
The total number of Egyptian nationals who left Libya and returned home since the start of the crisis in February reached 11,567.
