Saudi Arabia said on Wednesday the status of 11,455 Yemenis living in the country has been legalized.

King Salman has issued an order that gives two months to the concerned authorities to legalize the status of Yemenis illegally living in the country.

According to the order, Yemenis illegally living in Saudi Arabia would be given renewable six-month visit visas after getting travel documents from their government.

It said they would also be allowed to work in accordance to the country's regulations.
