Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Abdallah bin Yahya al Mouallimi welcomed efforts exerted by the UN to combat extremism by preparing an action plan in this respect.

He, meanwhile, urged the UN member states to benefit from the UN Counter-Terrorism Center in the UN to implement plan by the UN chief Ban Ki-moon to combat extremism.

Mouallimi's remarks came during his participation in a meeting of the the UN member states yesterday under President of the United Nations General Assembly John W. Ashe.
