Saudi authorities arrested on Friday two people in possession of 17 kg of hashish and two Kalashnikov rifles after they infiltrated into the eastern region of the kingdom.
The two suspects surrendered after an exchange of fire with police.
They were referred to the bodies concerned for necessary measures.
