The Saudi Civil Defense squads successfully quelled a fire that erupted in a building in the Makkah district of Al-Azizia. 
The spokesman of the civil defense in Makkah Major Naif Al-Shareef said the civil defense field authority ordered the multi-national residents to evacuate the nine-floor building before putting the fire under control, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 
Al-Shareef said that only one man suffered from panic before being treated and discharged, noting that an investigation was launched into the incident.
