Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abd al Aziz had a phone call on Saturday with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El Sisi.

Sisi and Abd al Aziz exchanged greetings on Eidul Adha, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Sisi condoled with Abd al Aziz for the death of pilgrims in Mina stampede on Thursday.

As many as 717 pilgrims died and at least 863 others were injured on Thursday when a stampede broke out in the tent city of Mina during a pilgrimage ritual.
