A Saudi delegation representing social development agencies in Saudi Arabia visited the General Union of Voluntary Societies (GUVS) on Wednesday to review the Union's work and the services it provides.
The president of the union, Falah Qudah, along with administrative board members, briefed the Saudi delegation on the Union's goals, objectives and message, as well as its programs, activities, projects, and centers that are overseen by the union.
Qudah praised Jordan-Saudi high-level relations, noting that these relations have witnessed remarkable development in all fields thanks to the care and guidance of the leaderships of the two countries.
Also, head of the Saudi delegation, Saad Al-Tamimi, discussed the work experience of Saudi volunteers.
Representatives of the Ministry of Social Development said that the Saudi visit is part of a series of visits being carried out by the delegation to a number of associations, in order to review their work in carrying out projects that serve the needy.
