Saudi King Salman ben Abdel Aziz on Thursday issued a royal order reshuffling the cabinet.
Saudi Crown Prince Muqrin ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud would be deputy prime minister of the new cabinet under King Salman himself.
Salman's royal order appointed new ministers of justice, Islamic affairs and agriculture and information.
Mutaib ben Abdallah ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud was appointed as a new head of the intelligence services, Prince Mohammed ben Salman ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud as defense minister and Ali al-Naimi as oil minister.
