Saudi Arabia is ready to participate in any ground operations agreed upon with the US-led alliance against Daesh in Syria, a military adviser to the Saudi defense minister said on Thursday.

In an interview with Al Arabiya News channel, Brigadier General Ahmed Asseri said if the US-led alliance decides to start such operations in Syria, the kingdom is ready to take part in such operations.
