The Saudi Interior Ministry (MOI)'s Security Spokesman said that at 4:30 am on Monday a border patrol from Swayf Station at Arar in the Kingdom's northern borders had sustained a terrorist gunfire attack, according to the official Saudi press agency "SPA".
The terrorist attack was foiled after cordoning off the terrorists and killing one of them. One of the terrorists detonated an explosive belt that he was carrying which resulted in his death and the martyrdom of two security men and injured a third security man.
SPA quoted the Security Spokesman who said that the incident was still being followed up by the security and a statement will be issued later to clarify the details.
